Lately, it seems like I have been in a wedding planning frenzy. We’re really in crunch time, and I’m excited and overwhelmed at the same time, but I know it will all work out. I’m really trying to focus on enjoying all the wedding-related moments that I know I’ll never have again. Namely, last week I had my final dress fitting. All that is left to do is to pick it up and keep it perfect until I put it on to walk down the aisle.

This was the first time wearing my dress with all my jewelry (that took me forever to pick out) and my first time trying it on altered perfectly to my measurements. My stepmom accompanied to the visit. I was so excited to share in the moment with her, and I can’t wait to show everyone my dress. I know this moment will be one of my favorites when I look back at the wedding planning memories.
My bridal salon is in Celebration, so we took advantage of being in the area and went out for breakfast after my fitting. My dad met up with us at Market Street Café, a cute diner located in downtown Celebration.
With my fitting behind me, I threw abandon out that diner window and followed my cravings. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel with a side of a half biscuit with gravy.

I piled all the salmon on one half of the bagel to keep the ratio of salmon to bagel pretty much equal, just how I like it. Smoked salmon can be a little pricey at Publix, so when I buy some, I always eat it sparingly. Therefore, when I order smoked salmon out, I pile it on.

I love that Market Street Café allows you to order a half biscuit with gravy. It’s the perfect amount to satisfy the craving.
My dad ordered the smoked salmon benedict, and my stepmom ordered the western omelet, which has peppers, ham, onions, and cheddar and jack cheeses.

I hear the hash browns were really good. Everything was really delicious. Even though it has a diner look and feel, the food wasn’t overly greasy, and everything tasted very fresh.
I know that some people love counting down to their weddings, but I have been awful at remembering where we are in the countdown. Therefore, I just looked it up, and we are only 24 days away!
Kevin and I are hunkered down watching the election results roll in. After hearing stories all day about the long lines at the polls, I’m relieved that I was able to vote early. Regardless of the outcome tonight, I hope we can unite as a nation and move forward together. USA! USA!

I can’t believe your wedding is only 24 days away!! Those 24 days are going to fly by. Savor each moment
I can’t wait to see pictures of your wedding dress!
I have been loving smoked salmon lately actually! I roll up a little cream cheese inside and eat it plain. It is expensive though!
Yes, definitely enjoy this time! Everything will just zoom by you, especially on your wedding day! So excited for you!
