The other evening Kevin and I grabbed dinner at Dexter’s in Winter Park. It was nice to have a mid-week relaxing dinner. I started off my evening with a Prickly Pear, one of their girly martinis.

It was sweet and delicious with a little bit of fizz.
We also started out with an order of sweet potato chips, which came with two dipping sauces.

The chips were addicting on their own, but the sauces were also delicious. One was a honey dijon sauce and one was a sweet chili sauce with a little kick that reminded me of one of my favorite sauces at Tijuana Flats. I think I may actually prefer sweet potato chips to sweet potato fries. I love the crunch.
For dinner, Kevin ordered a hamburger, and I ordered the rustic cast iron skillet salad.

Kevin ordered his burger at a “medium” doneness but it was pretty charred. There was a pretty thick crust around the outside of the burger and the inside was dry.
My salad, on the other hand, was delicious.

It had assorted greens topped with feta, asparagus, grilled onions, artichoke hearts, roasted potatoes and tomatoes with a lemon dijon dressing. The flavors of the veggies were so good that you really didn’t need any dressing. I really enjoyed the mess of different vegetables.
I hope you had a great weekend. I’ve been trying to get more daring with nail polish colors, so check out my weekend nails.

I love how summery the shades of blue are.
What are your favorite nail polish colors right now?
