We got our professional engagement photos back! I had such a great time laughing through all the photos and reliving all the fun we had on that day taking them. When Kevin and I first got engaged, we agreed that we weren’t going to have engagement photos taken. We figured we could save money and we didn’t need a bunch of cheesy photos of ourselves. I’m so glad we changed our minds.
Our photographer Kellie includes engagement photos in her wedding packages (although you can pretty much customize them to include whatever you want), and I’m glad it convinced us to just go ahead and take them. It allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera and practice being at ease for the actual wedding day. In the photos, you can literally see where I start to loosen up. It definitely didn’t hurt that Kellie was a blast to work with.
Our main goal for the engagement photos was to use them for Save the Dates, but now I’m thinking of getting some blown up and framed for the house as well. Below are some of our favorites. I hope you enjoy them!
