Sometimes you have a day of eats that makes you go, “hmmm…,” which happened to me yesterday. First up: my breakfast. Here’s a fun fact. Scrambling eggs with avocado before adding to the pan makes your breakfast look like green cat vomit.

Next time, I think I’ll scramble the eggs, add them to the pan THEN add avocado. Despite the ugly green appearance, the combination is still delicious.
Here’s my attempt at moving breakfast near natural light to try to make it look more appealing. Fail.

Later that day Kevin and I were struck by a craving for pizza, but not just any pizza. For some reason, we had a hankering for chain pizza (as opposed to our beloved Anthony’s).
This led us to dining at Pizza Hut. I haven’t been to Pizza Hut since I was way younger and lived in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, when we would go to celebrate the end of soccer season.
We started out with breadsticks, and Kevin ordered pepperoni pizza. I ordered my pizza with sausage, mushrooms and olives.

Why, yes, that is stuffed crust. If you go to Pizza Hut once every 15 years, you need to go big or go home. We had a great time laughing at ourselves over our romantic date night, but I don’t think that craving will be coming up again anytime soon.
After two slices of stuffed crust pizza, it was time to get serious about rejoining a gym. On Saturday, I visited one gym near me, and on Sunday, a second. They’re both really nice (and a lot nicer than the gym I had previously quit).
There’s a pretty big price difference per month between the two ($35), but the more expensive gym does offer more, including group fitness classes (the other offers no classes) and more machines and equipment (kettle bells, stair mills, etc.). Decisions, decisions…
What helps you to choose a gym?
Ever crave pizza from a chain place?

Hmm.. all I really need in a gym are a variety of cardio machines (I’m on a Cybex arc trainer phase right now, but usually elliptical and treadmill are my must-haves) and a good weights selection, plus weight machines. I have gone to classes before but I don’t do them on a regular basis, or often enough to warrant needing a gym that has em! Good luck with your choice!
Oh yeah. I totally agree with the go big or go home!!! Yay stuffed crust. Lol. And I hate it when food turns out super ugly, but at least it’s delicious!! I’d go for the kettlebells and stairmills!
I used to love Pizza Hut growing up! I haven’t had it in such a long time. I think you deserve to treat yourself to pizza
Stuffed crust is my favorite pizza that is not Lou Malnatis (a place I love in Chicago). Plus, you gotta dip that in ranch.
I’m a member of Planet Fitness and I really miss spin classes but I love the gym. I hated LA Fitness when I was a member there and that’s the only other gym close to me that has classes.
I’ve been experiencing the same gym debate, split between Planet Fitness cause it’s cheap & close to my house, & the downtown Y because it’s nice, great classes but expensive. Still haven’t decided which way to go. I’m going to finish my classes & join a gym in the summer though so I have a month to make up my mind LOL
That pizza actually looks incredibly good right now. I honestly don’t take group classes, and prefer to workout on my own, so I generally try to pay a little as possible for my gym.
Your post makes me giggle because I brought an avocado and cheese sandwich to work a couple months ago and everyone around me kept staring at my sandwich in total disgust. But it was soooo good even though it did look gross! Lol and I love stuffed crust! Good choice!! Go big or go home!
A good stuffed crust is a must every once in awhile. Soooo gross, but good!
I love Pizza Hut breadsticks!
Sometimes my food looks disgusting but tastes amazing, too!
