Happy Valentine’s Day! Kevin and I aren’t huge Valentine’s Day celebrators, so we are enjoying a relaxing evening in catching up on the DVR. Last night we did have a fun night out at the Amway Center cheering on the Orlando Magic.

Thanks to Kevin’s friend who works for the Magic, we got really great tickets in the lower bowl. It was fun to see all the players up close.
The Amway Center is newly constructed, and this is only its second season operating. It’s so nice. Of course, I love that there are plenty of food option.

I ordered a gyro, which ended up being messier than anticipated, like most of my meals. The seasoning was pretty good, but the meat was a little dry. Overall, it wasn’t the worse concession food I’ve ever had. I also noticed that Amway has carving stations with BBQ options, and they offer veggie burgers. They definitely have a good variety.
The Magic ended up winning. I hadn’t been to a Magic game since last season, so it was fun to see them in action again.

It was the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Eve.

What are your thoughts on Valentine’s Day? Any plans?

Mmm I wish mine included a gyro – haha – though I did get some steak! Low key night over here though, as bf is away during the week! We will celebrate on the weekend!
Wow that looks like pretty good sports arena food! I toured the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium a month ago and I was so impressed with all of the new food stalls. So much more than just your standard hot dogs and soft pretzels. Although those are pretty delicious options in my book.
awwa… cute couple. We just made dinner at home and are chiling on the couch. Our fave. And reading blogs… obviously!
I had Greek food last night too
I haven’t been to a Magic game in the new Amway – maybe we’ll go someday soon.
We are also catching on the DVR tonight. Woo the excitement!
Haha Will got invited to the Magic game by one of his friends last night! Luckily he decided to veto that idea and spend his Valentine’s Day with me instead, but hey– I can’t say that I would’ve blamed him for picking the latter
..I mean former…
HAHA
Aww, that picture of you two is so sweet!
You were really close! That sounds like fun! I enjoy going to see professional basketball.
Aww, awesome view! We did a Magic game too, but the seats I bought were super crappy and all the way up at the top.
I didn’t manage to do much this Valentine’s Day besides watch a few movies (Kung Fu Panda II) but it looks like you had a good time! ^^
We spent Valentine’s Day at home too. The bf cooked dinner which was an extra special treat. I’ve never been to a basketball game, but I think sporting events are a lot of fun. I just wish good tickets weren’t so pricy.
What a fun way to celebrate! I’m glad you had a good V-Day, and I’m rather impressed with the food selection.
I’ve yet to go to a Magic game at the new arena, can you believe it? I’m totally slacking!
Aw what a perfect evening. That gyro looks AWESOME.
I went to a movie and ate Italian food with some single girlfriends – it was fun!
What a great way to spend spend your valetines eve. Hope your v-day was awesome!
