Eggs and puffs

Is it weird that whenever we have leftovers from dinner, I wonder how they’ll taste with eggs?

I love runny eggs with anything: leftover mashed potatoes, Thanksgiving stuffing, kale…you name it. Last night’s dinner was thrown together quickly: hot dogs and Alexia sweet potato puffs. So guess what was for breakfast this morning?

No, not eggs and hot dogs…eggs and puffs!

The leftover sweet potato puffs paired perfectly with my runny eggs, and I’m so excited that I have more leftovers for tomorrow morning.

Can you believe Christmas is in just a few days? We started celebrating a little bit early. Kevin’s brother, Nick, came over for dinner last night, and we gave him his Christmas present since he’ll be out of town this weekend.

We got him a Beertender! (And a mini keg of Newcastle.)

Kevin also got to open one of his presents from me…a new pair of sunglasses.

Of course, we couldn’t forget Parko.

I got a pair of boat shoes from Kevin and a Gators license plate holder from Parko. Apparently it had been on my car for two days, and I’m just oblivious. Whoops…

Have you started celebrating the holidays yet?

  1. Aw Parko is so thoughtful to have given you a license plate holder! (If it makes you feel any better, I probably wouldn’t have noticed either..)

  2. Aw, I love that Parko got you a gift! That is so sweet! :) I’m usually so oblivious to things I probably wouldn’t have noticed it either!

Yeah, we have started celebrating. :)

  3. Aww that’s so cute! I probably wouldn’t have noticed either. Now, put a new pair of shoes in my closet, and I’ll see those within minutes…
