I officially proclaimed that lunch on Friday would be the end of my week-long birthday celebration when my work team took me out to lunch. I chose Bento because I still had a hankering for sushi, even after last Saturday’s sushi extravaganza.
I ordered a spicy salmon rice bowl and vegetable spring rolls. They perfectly hit the spot.
I love Bento because it’s pretty much fast food sushi. It’s unpretentious, inexpensive and quick, and the ingredients are really fresh. And because I can order a giant bowl of sushi rice topped with raw salmon and spicy mayo. My bowl didn’t stay that pretty for very long. I mixed it all up and devoured it.
Also ordered at our table was Pad Thai and a sushi bento box. I can vouch that both of those are really good.
Where did the weekend go? I can’t believe it’s Sunday already. I’ve been playing with my new iPhone 4s all weekend, which has been really fun. Kevin loves asking Siri random questions like “Will you marry me?” and “What is the meaning of life?” She’s extremely sassy, and how her answers will change up and play off previous answers is extremely eerie. I’ve already asked to her to plan my wedding, and she brought up all the wedding shops near me.

My phone is backordered, but I can’t wait to play around with it!! Dan and I were reading some of the stuff she says and it was cracking us up. So glad she has a sense of humor
